Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) Training Details

Our Foundation Training begins with Module 1: “Presence and Pacing ~ An Introduction to BCST.” This 4-day course is an introduction to perceptual shifts and practitioner skills which are useful in any modality. Students will learn specific techniques for settling the nervous system and employ an understanding of the important role the practitioner plays in supporting the expression of the Inherent Healing Process. This Intro is a 28 CE course in itself (NCBTMB Board approved). After attending this class, students can choose to apply to take the 2-year Foundation Training continuing with Module 2. All Modules are sequential, and students are expected to take all modules in the same training.

Module 1: May 16-19, 2024

(prerequisite class for full Foundation Training)

For more information about Module 1 and the full Foundation Training, come join us for a complimentary 1-hour information session on Monday, April 29, from 7-8pm MT

BCST Foundation Training

TRAINING STRUCTURE

The training involves 13 x 4-day modules over the course of 2 years.

Module 1 is a prerequisite for the full training and can be taken as a stand-alone class.

Each 4-day module is offered in person (with a possible hybrid option upon approval). This is a carefully layered presentation of material and supervised practice of BCST skills.

There are in total 700 hours required to be completed for graduation:
350 hours of classroom time.
150 hours of practice sessions. Between seminars students practice skills they learned in class. These are unpaid sessions and the clients are informed that the practitioner is in training. These sessions are written up and turned in to the teaching team for review. It is recommended that you get 12 completed in-between modules so you are ready to graduate at the end. This includes one 10-hour Case Study which starts halfway through the program.
10 hours of sessions that you receive from an RCST (the cost for this is not included in the tuition). We recommend that you schedule these sessions between each module to prepare you for the upcoming module.
150 hours of study time including drawing and modeling anatomical structures and the reading of texts in the fields of BCST, cranial osteopathy, trauma resolution, anatomy and pre-and perinatal development.
40 hours of a Special Project.
